Bowie.
The author is a freelancer with 300 short stories and articles
published in a range of national magazines including, AOPA
Pilot, Readers Digest, Southern
Aviator, The Saturday Evening Post,
and Yankee. He once won a magazine short
story contest by completing a horror tale begun by Stephen King
titled "The Cat From Hell." He
has taught creative writing at a community college, and he edited
a city magazine for ten years.
He's an instrument-rated
private pilot with his own 1968 Cessna Skyhawk, and flies as a
volunteer for the nonprofit Neuse River Foundation. He lives in
New Bern, North Carolina, and writes in a cottage he restored
overlooking the Neuse. Diamondback is
his second novel about John Hardin, pilot and cowboy at heart.
His debut novel Guns was endorsed by New
York Times best-selling author Lee Child.
