Roberta
Clark is a writer, artist, and teacher, and was a founding
member of the Advisory Board of California State Fullerton's
Extension Creative Writing Program. Brought up in the San
Joaquin Valley of California, she has lived in Illinois, Michigan,
New York, Connecticut, and Florida. She attended UCLA and
Art Center College of Design before graduating from the University
of California at Irvine.
After sailing out of New York harbor for a year's misadventure
aboard their far-from-luxurious blue-nose schooner, she, her
husband, and five children settled in California. While her
husband continued his love of sailing, specializing in advertising
for boat companies, Roberta took up Windsurfing, and later
Bujinkan Budo Martial Arts, earning a shodan rank black belt.
Currently, Ms Clark works with children who have learning
disabilities, while she writes and does research for a new
suspense novel.
