 Elizabeth
Sinclair (aka Marge Smith). Being a romantic at heart and
having devoured more than her share of romances, it was
inevitable that Elizabeth Sinclair would one day write them.
Following her dream,
which took more than a couple of wrong turns along the way,
in 1993 she sold her first
romance, Jenny's Castle. Since then, this multi-published
author's books have sold
in nineteen countries and been translated into nine foreign
languages.
While Elizabeth
was growing up, she aspired to become a teacher, then along
came her
husband Bob and three children. When all the kids had started
school, Elizabeth
found herself with a lot of time on her hands, so she became
an avid romance reader.
That was when the writing bug bit her. Fortunately, she never
recovered. Now, she
gets to do the two things she loves most in the world, writing
and teaching people how to
write and the best part is, she gets paid to do it. How many
people can say that?
Elizabeth and her
husband live outside St. Augustine, Fl with one very crazy,
energetic Sheltie, named Ripley for one
of Elizabeth's heroines, and Sammi Girl, a placid little beagle
they found abandoned on the roadside three days after 9/11.
When she's not writing, Elizabeth is
either teaching, traveling to conferences or teaching writing
workshops around the country
or visiting her children and four grandchildren.
