Sherry Fiennes is terrified of her husband, Mack, who is accused
of kidnapping a teenage girl. Believing he is guilty as charged,
Sherry agrees to testify against him.
Bad decision.
Mack vows to kill her.
At least he’s safely in jail and will, with her help,
be there a whole lot longer. So Sherry thinks. But before he
can be prosecuted, a mistrial is declared and Mack is set free,
forcing Sherry to take her three-year-old daughter and flee.
Mother and daughter disappear with the help of an underground
pipeline set up to protect women when the law won’t.
Two years later, Sherry is notified that Mack has committed
suicide. Free to come home, she is the happiest she’s
been in her life.
But her happiness is short-lived. Strange things begin
to happen in the house she once shared with Mack. Trying
to
convince those
around her that Mack is still alive and entering her
home, Sherry is repeatedly met with disbelief . . .
Until the night her daughter disappears from her bed.
